In Kenya, emergencies don’t always fail because treatment doesn’t exist. Everlyne’s story: why speed matters
Everlyne was a mother in Mathare. She delivered a healthy baby boy at Selina Clinic, but she urgently needed referral care at Kenyatta National Hospital. Her family was asked to arrange transport using their own means. Help took too long to arrive, and Everlyne sadly passed away on the way to KNH.
